Moisés Fragela (San Juan, P.R., 1976)

Pintor y escultor. Comenzó sus estudios en arte en la Universidad del Sagrado Corazón, bajo la tutoría de Nora Rodríguez. En 1996 se trasladó a Miami donde continuó sus estudios de Bellas Artes en Florida International University. Se inició en la pintura al óleo con el profesor James Cooper. A su regreso a Puerto Rico cursó estudios en la Escuela de Artes Plásticas en San Juan, bajo la tutela de Linda Sánchez Pintor. Mientras estudiaba fue artista residente de una galería del Viejo San Juan, donde exhibió numerosas piezas de arte. En el 2003 fue invitado a participar de una Crítica de Maestros en la Escuela de Artes Plásticas por la Dra. Elaine King, donde fue honrado con la Mejor crítica y galardonado con la Mejor exhibición en pinturas. En el 2004 se graduó con un Bachillerato en Pintura y un Grado Asociado en Escultura. Su obra ha sido expuesta exitosamente en y fuera de Puerto Rico.

Moisés Fragela (San Juan, P.R., 1976)

Painter and sculptor. His arts studies began at Sacred Heart University under the guidance of Nora Rodríguez. In 1996 he moved to Miami, where he continued his studies in Fine Arts at Florida International University. He began oil painting with professor James Cooper. Upon his return to Puerto Rico he continued studying at the San Juan School of Visual Arts under the guidance of Linda Sánchez Pintor. He was resident artist at a gallery in Old San Juan while he continued his studies, and exhibited many of his works of art. In 2003 he was invited to participate in a Teachers Critique at the School of Visual Arts by Dr. Elaine King, in which he received Best Critique and was awarded Best Exhibition in painting. He graduated in 2004, completing a Bachelor of Arts in Painting and an Associate Degree in Sculpture. His work has been shown with great success in Puerto Rico and abroad.
