Luis A. Maisonet Ramos, (Bayamón, PR, 1952)
Artista gráfico y pintor. Tras obtener un Bachillerato en Artes de la Escuela de Artes Plásticas del Instituto de Cultura, trabajó como diseñador y cartelista en el taller de Artes Gráficas del Departamento de Actividades Culturales de la Universidad de Puerto Rico. Durante 30 años se ha dedicado a su arte, presentando múltiples exposiciones individuales y participando en otras tantas exposiciones colectivas en Puerto Rico, Estados Unidos, Latinoamérica y Europa. Su fructífera carrera incluye también importantes premios y reconocimientos a nivel nacional e internacional. Su trabajo forma parte de la colección permanente del Museo de Ponce, el Museo de Arte Contemporáneo y el Museo de Arte, Antropología e Historia de la Universidad de Puerto Rico, y en otros en la Habana y Nueva York.

Graphic artist and painter. After obtaining a Bachelor of Arts from the Institute of Puerto Rican Culture's School of Visual Arts, he worked as a designer and poster artist in the Graphic Arts Workshop of the Cultural Activities Department at the University of Puerto Rico. For thirty years he has been dedicated to his art, presenting multiple individual exhibitions and participating in numerous collective exhibitions in Puerto Rico, the United States, Latin America, and Europe. His fruitful career also includes important awards and distinctions at the national and international levels. His work is found in the permanent collections of the Ponce Museum, the Museum of Contemporary Art, and the Museum of Art, Anthropology and History at the University of Puerto Rico, as well as in others in Havana and New York.
